How To Use Effie on Victoria 4 Or Aiko 4 This is what you do first, before you change the head & body to Effie. |
Step 1: Go to “Figures” Folder and find the folder called “Daz People” and choose Victoria 4.2
Step 2: Now you need to apply the morphs so Victoria can change her looks. This is important, or else you can’t change her to Effie or other girls… Then go to “Poses” folder open the folder:”DAZ's Victoria 4” and go inside: “Morph Injections” Then you do as the picture under show you…
Step 3: When you have done this, we are now ready to change her looks…
Step 4: Go inside the folder: “Effie_Morph_Poses
Step 5: Now you see her change:
Step 6: I now go to the folder with the shader mat’s: “Effie_Shader_Mat”. I always use shader mat’s , because those looks better than mat’s without shaders…
Step 7: In my Poser, I don’t see transparent things like eyelashes before I do this:
You don’t need to do this, because you see them in the final render, but I like to see this before rendering also.. |
Step 8: As you see in the picture above, her eyes goes a bit upwards… To fix the eyes to the right position after posing her, just click on her head with the mouse and double-click the eyefix pose…
If you shall use Effie on Aiko4: If you have injected Effie V4.2 body first, just remove it.. Inject Effie V4.2 head morph before using Effie Aiko4 head
If you like to have the feary ears on, now you can choose those... |
Now she is ready for hair, pose, and final render.. If you know the rest, just close this tutorial…
For those who don’t know how to put on hair, pose her, apply light and render , then we can go forward to the next page….…

APPLY A LIGHT:
The lights you find in the “Lights” library.. I suggest you to buy some good IBL lights.. REMEMBER: a light can make or break your final render… In my promo images I have used 4Blueyes’ IBLClassic lights from Daz3d. The first one you see under…
APPLY HAIR: I choose a hair I find in the figures library…I use here Dryades hair from renderosity..
You maybe wonder WHY you need to click “conform to Victoria 4”? Well.. If you don’t do that, the hair doesn’t follow her moves when you pose her later…
APPLY HAIR COLOR:
The hair have a folder in “Poses” library to apply hair color for the hair I have used…. Click the mouse on her hair, so you see the lines… You also see in the preview window if it’s the hair or Victoria who is selected… Then choose a hair color and double-click on the color you want…
TO APPLY A POSE:
Well..We can’t have the girl standing with her arms right out, so we need to pose her… You can bend her arms and body and pose her yourself, but I hate to struggle with it, so I like to buy a pose pack.. It’s easier.. But you choose yourself…
I go inside a pose pack, and see a pose I like. Click the mouse on a body part of Victoria.. Example leg or arm... Then double click a pose.. Now she looks betterJ
Now to the final render… It’s many options for rendering.. I shall show you my options I used for the promo pictures…
AND REMEMBER: Rendering options can break or make the final result!
Choose the render dimension ( you don't need to use the same as me:-) and render settings...
And click "Render now" |
When rendering is finish:
Click: File>Export>Image, And choose where to save it in the format you want... … After rendering, I export the picture as a PNG file.. A PNG file is blank around the girl, so it’s easier to put her on a background…
Here is the final result…
